Meet Goblin - Fairy's best friend

We used to think that mishcievous Goblins and fantastic Rainbow Fairies would not get along... We planned that the Goblin‘s mission would be to add a twist to the Rainbow fairies party: steal the goodie bags or interfere into the Fairy masterclasses of tiara and magic wands decorating. Looking like this who could blame us:

Monkey-Monster, Camel-Unicorn, Swinecat...

Any parent with a child over 1.5 years probably has masterpieces all over the place, with the fridge often becoming your own Tate Modern dedicated to your children’s personal exhibition. As Pablo Picasso put it "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up"
Now you can translate your child’s masterpiece into a beautiful soft toy at Wendy Tsao’s Child's own studio. They’ve lovingly interpreted over 200 works of art by children into custom made soft toys. So now all of your child’s monsters, cats, monkeys and animals without a name can turn into a real cuddly toy.

How to make the most out of organising the office xmas party

HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OUT OF ORGANISING THE OFFICE XMAS PARTY

As the party organiser you should enjoy the event, and remember, that creating a great party will also create a great impression with your colleagues!

Create a teaser sometime before the Christmas party: introduce a Rubik’s cube man, who will give cubes to all people in the office, if you plan the 80ies Christmas or a Candy Girl, who will treat everyone with candyfloss or sweets, if you plan Cabaret or Circus party. Their aim is to introduce the “See you at the party” message and tell them «Hasta la vista, baby!»

DIY wedding rings

Do you remember how much money you spent on your wedding rings? Has it ever occurred to you of how many couples have the same, bought from a jewellery shop on the high street?

Well, how about something really special... West Dean College (where Salvador Dali, supported by the College founder Edward James created the signature Lips couch and Lobster Telephone) propose the happy couple make their own wedding rings. The one day course enables couples to make a lasting a personal symbol of their love and commitment to one another.

The soon to be bride and groom are free to re-use jewellery or metal that they may already have – from a sentimental and meaningful source, or use gold they have purchased especially for the occasion.

During the course you are guided step-by-step by a tutor in the processes of casting, wire drawing, forming, soldering, filing, finishing and polishing to produce wedding rings that are individual and eternally yours.

Sex and the City...to be continued!

The TV series are over; the Movies are in the can, with no new ones on the horizon. However, Sex And The City is still in the mind of the female population because men and fashion trends will always be high on the agenda!

It is a great birthday theme for a young and successful girl, so it fitted the bill for victoria perfectly. We created a healthy mix of sex and fashion, integrating it into the environment in our own smart way, with dash of cocktails and a little bit of magic!

Let’s start with the details:
Some lips and stilettos made of the milk chocolate – could be taken home afterwards to be enjoyed with the tea

Star Wars and Jedi pizza!

Some say cooking is not for boys… let alone 8 year old ones! But at this Star Wars cooking party it was proved wrong, because every Padawan, who came to the party, cooked its own fantastic Jedi Pizza.

The journey to the Star Wars chef’s place started right after school, where Jedi Max met everyone, checked the force was strong and gave light sabres to the boys

At the party we witnessed a huge interest to the cooking process, everyone was involved in pizza dough making, mixing the toppings and putting the pizza in the oven under the supervision of the Jedi Master Chef. The force was so strong at the party that they even had time to create their own starters, chicken croutons in a yummy Yoda sauce!

"Hello, Kitty!" party

When a Japanese designer Yuko Shimizu created this kitten back in 1974, he could not imagine her to become the queen of the huge “Hello, Kitty!” empire. Now her head with a funny bow have spread everywhere: from sticker and eraser to the theme park and restaurants.

Girls of all ages seem to be obsessed by the Kitty, with her popularity being the next to the princesses and fairies. And our party meant to be not just one more “Hello, Kitty!”

The Kitty mascotte who was greeting every child was a huge success among the children, including one boy (!) who did not let Kitty go and invited her to his nursery to meet his friends.

"Just picked from the garden" for Kate Moss

Kate Moss seems to have cemented the vintage and effortless trend for the wedding flowers. Stylish Kate carried a vintage styled, ‘informally designed’, hand-tied bouquet.

Billie Rae, the child of creativity

There must be hundreds of burlesque and cabaret girls, as this entertainment act, originally born in the United States in 1860s is in a high demand now. Passion for retro and vintage encouraged more and more bohemian starlets and lady vamps to come to the entertainment market. And it was a hard job to find the right one - the true star with a twist and chic of the 50s and a sparkle in her eyes, suiting the Mad Men theme of our private birthday party in a private members club the Home HouseI bet Billie Rae definitely attracted everybody's attention as soon as she took her train from Brighton to Victoria - hair and make up styled, with her look always perfected for the event well in advance, rather than putting her make up in the dressing room an hour before the show.

A wedding cake or till death do us apart

Olga and Jo's rock n' roll wedding cake was a perfect alternative to the traditional, lovely layered cakes with marzipan or plastic bride and groom toppers. The scull shaped white, milk and dark chocolate lemon drizzle cake with mother of Pearls glitter and red chocolate roses was inspired by the marine theme, 60's style and the early years of rock n' roll.

Your child and the Chocolate Factory

The ideal scenario of the party could be Johnny Depp as an entertainer, huge chocolate fountains, unlimited sweets and Umpa Lumps dancing. However, being aware that not all parents would appreciate unlimited chocolate being eaten by their small children, while organising the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed birthday party, our aim was to create an atmosphere as close to the story as possible, but still not to have too much chocolate around!

The party mood was set by a gigantic backdrop with a scene from the movie, covering all the wall.
